Congratulations to San Sarki, the NICE Volunteer of the Month for May 2014. San has worked extensively in our Education Department, specifically with the Refugee Integration Program. Despite working full-time at The Cheesecake Factory, San volunteers several hours each week to support his fellow community members. Whether filling out paperwork, translating, or driving clients to appointments, San is willing to help in any way he is asked. And to top it off, you’ll never find him without a smile on his face! As a former resettlement client of ours, we are especially proud to see how much San has grown and are thankful for his commitment to empowering those around him.
