Just in time for the holiday season, shoppers can donate school supplies, winter coats, car seats – even citizenship study books for prospective immigrants – to NICE families with the swipe of a credit card.
“Donations made through the Giving Machine to NICE help welcome refugees to their new community here in Nashville with the tools and resources they need to prosper, now and for generations to come,” says the organization’s Associate Director of Development Max Rykov.
Light the World Giving Machines are sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which is covering the machine and maintenance costs, credit card fees, and any administrative fees. This means charities including NICE receive 100% of donations made to the machines
