Workforce Preparation Program
The NICE Workforce Preparation Program focuses on assisting local refugees who have been in the United States for less than five years prepare for and obtain employment. The Workforce Preparation Program is currently enrolling clients. For more information, please contact Employment Coordinator Koang Chol at koang@empowernashville.org
This program provides the following services:
- Resume Assistance
- Skills Bank & Interest Inventory
- Job Application Assistance
- Referral Services
- Employer Partner Relations
- Job Placement Services
In 2019, NICE:
- Placed 237 refugees, asylees and immigrants in jobs.
- Partnered with: Tyson Foods, GCA, Belmont University, Fresh Point Tomato, Lipscomb University, Cheesecake Factory, Nissan Varsity and others.
